After the lockdowns lifted, I started working on a long-awaited Sydney-inspired series. As with all of my skyline-inspired works, the water and its relationship to the CBD is what does it for me. The hugely famous and already well-portrayed icons of the Sydney city views are not my focus, although they can't help but appear here and there. As with Melbourne and Brisbane, what grabs me when I am there is the relationship of the waterways to the man-made shapes and the way that it all flows as the inhabitants utilize and enjoy the omnitude.
